Writing is my passion, and I’m madly in love with books of all genres. Like many authors, my writing is a mix of personal experiences and an active imagination. I’m an extroverted introvert. I have learned to work closely with people and truly enjoy them, but I’m most comfortable at home writing.

I spent nearly a decade as a mechanic in the Air Force and have used pieces of those memories in my work.

Maddie Winter’s relationship with Grandpa is based largely on my relationship with my own Grandpa. While he did not raise me, we were very close, and he was the most fascinating person I have ever known.
